I often think about the job I do, and the job most of us fo these days, and can’t help myself of seeing one big problem. <div> </div>

We are working on many websites, fancy blogs, cool animations, well executed AJAX, perfect CSS and so on. But no matter how perfect it all is now, it will be gone in maximum 2 years, if not by the end of this year. We plan, design and execute many pages that sooner or later will just be thrown away and redone.
One of the oldest website still online is the one for the Space Jam movie. If you have a look at it, you realize how out-of-fashion it is. But it’s only 15 years old. We will all be in this business in 15 years, right? So how ugly are the things we are doing now?
