It’s almost a year since I finished reading the series “Game of Thrones” by George R.R. Martin and today I remembered one thing I realized while reading the books: There are no bad people.
At least nobody thinks of themselves as being bad. Nobody wakes up in the morning thinking “Ahh, today I am going to make someone’s life miserable!“. They might actually do that by the end of the day, but they do it because of different reasons, or might not even realize it. It’s the others that label a person as being bad, just because they don’t know the reasons of that person’s behavior.
If you read Game of Thrones, you will see how your opinion about some characters changes once you hear their side of the story. And this is only one of the reasons I added the complete series of the book in the list of books I recommend.
There are no bad people, but there sure are evil or sick people.
